no matter what you do, you still see the 300zx. you can paint the, black all you want, they will still be seen. i guess you could sand them off so its flat, but be careful. i tried to make the letters light up bold like the real j-spec ones, but it looked like shit during the day. when lit up, it looked sweet, but you could tell it was homemade during the daylight hours. before i painted the inside of the panel so the neon didnt shine through, i was gonna paint the letters black, and write 300zx in script behind it so when lit, the whole panel would light up, not just the lil tiny block letters. but that was before i found out the letters would show no matter how much you painted them. that, and i thought itd look a little tacky. was also thinking a big z, but the same thing came up as the script, so just gonna go traditional. still trying to make the whole letters light up good looking though. that would be nice. and its a good project to do while you cant drive, and making carbon fiber has been getting to you
